On the year 1945, at this exact same date, Soekarno birthed the ideas of Pancasila during the grand meeting before Independence Day. It was this idea that became the foundation of our nation, Republic of Indonesia.
Today, we shall remember the sacrifice that our national heroes has gone through to build this nation back up, to seize this nation, and to gain freedom once again from colonialism. We shall honor the great values instilled in Pancasila that Soekarno has made for this nation. More importantly, we shall live in this country with the greatest sense of proudness and base our actions on Pancasila values.
