POLIR
The VENTIL POLIR range of machines are designed for Grinding
and Lapping flat seats inside the Shut-off or Safety Valve body seats.
The light weight battery or pneumatic drive unit, enables safe
and efficient ‘in-shop’ and ‘on-site’ use. The POLIR machines
are delivered ready for use, including all necessary tools,
accessories, a large consumer quantity of abrasive 3M foil rings
and are packed in robust carrying cases.

ABRASIVES
Using the right abrasive material is the key to a high material removal rate, while achieving the best flatness accuracy. Therefore the POLIR F6 is standard delivered with a large consumer quantity of polyester based, self-adhesive foil tips with bounded Aluminum Oxide. This high quality 3M abrasive foil can be used dry and is suited for all common seat materials. The set contains 3 different grains; rough, middle and fine. This enables the operator to select the best solution, depending on the seat damage and required level of flatness / finish.
CONICAL SEAT ATTACHMENT C2.5
The POLIR F6 can be optionally completed with the C2.5 attachment set for grinding and lapping valves with all common conical seats in the range from 3/8’’ – 2,5” / DN10 – 65 mm. The C2.5. The set is used in combination with the POLIR F5 battery drive unit. The cones are made from high quality hardened steel, a guarantee for a long lifetime. Just like the POLIR F6, the C2.5 set is also delivered with a large consumer quantity of polyester based, self-adhesive foil tips with bounded Aluminum Oxide. This high quality 3M abrasive foil can be used dry and is suited for all common seat materials. The set contains 3 different grains; rough, middle and fine.
