Zero-Emission Electro-Hydraulic Actuator for Industrial Applications

Bray’s state-of-the-art modular electro-hydraulic actuator is fully configurable for a wide range of valve services and applications. Optimized for direct mounting on Bray valves, it can also be easily retrofitted to other valve types. The self-contained hydraulic power unit can be mounted directly on the actuator or supplied on a floor stand to operate single or multiple cylinders. It supports various power options, including solar-charged systems for remote locations.

This actuator provides high thrust and torque, fast response, failsafe operation via spring or energy accumulator, and precise valve positioning with repeatability. Its closed-loop hydraulic system eliminates exhaust emissions, unlike pneumatic or gas-powered actuators. Operating from -50°F (-46°C) to 212°F (+100°C), it performs reliably in extreme temperatures.

The electro-hydraulic actuator is a self-contained system with zero emissions, available in double acting or spring return configurations. It supports on/off or continuous modulating control with various voltage, signal, and network protocol options. Designed for precise, repeatable performance, it offers fast response, multiple fail-safe modes, and can operate via solar or wind-powered systems for remote applications. Additional features include remote and local control, diagnostics, manual override, line break protection, partial stroke testing, and system alarms. Certified to UL, FM, ATEX, CSA, and SIL standards, and available in weather-proof or explosion-proof designs.
