The compact Series 98C Scotch Yoke Actuator is designed for demanding applications, using proven technology from the larger Series 98. Tested for up to 1,000,000 cycles, it delivers torque up to 17,701 lbf-in (2,000 Nm) and fits rotary valves from 2” to 20”.
The standard 98C includes dual ISO 5211 mounting surfaces and a square drive output shaft for easy valve adaptation. The fail direction can be changed by flipping the actuator. A VDI/VDE 3845 pad allows direct mounting of switchboxes, sensors, or positioners for feedback integration.
Maintenance is simple, requiring only replacement of soft components. The Series 98C supports pneumatic or hydraulic power sources and can also operate with Bray’s electro-hydraulic unit for electric-only environments.
